A 14-year-old boy was killed in a drive-by shooting in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood Sunday morning, police said.
The shooting occurred in the 1700-block of South Newberry Avenue at about 2:35 a.m., police said.
The boy was on a porch when shots were fired from a passing vehicle. The boy was shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene.
The boy has been identified to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office as Damien Santoyo of Chicago.
Police are investigating and no one is in custody.
